Dr. Jose Eduardo Costa Filho is a highly experienced, board-certified vascular and endovascular specialist dedicated to helping patients improve their vascular health and quality of life. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Costa Filho brings over a decade of expertise in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of arterial and venous conditions, including chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, peripheral artery disease and aneurysms.
He is board-certified in Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Medicine by the American Board of Vascular Medicine and is also board-certified in Vascular Surgery by the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Costa Filho has an extensive background in both advanced surgical and catheter-based procedures, having served as Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at major hospitals in Brazil. He also holds the prestigious Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential, highlighting his expertise in vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
Dr. Costa Filho recently completed a clinical fellowship in Advanced Endovascular Interventions at Yale New Haven Hospital/Yale University.
His approach to care is built on compassion, precision, and patient education. Dr. Costa Filho is passionate about providing leading-edge treatments that minimize downtime while achieving optimal results for his patients.
